The HP BladeSystem c7000 Carrier-Grade Enclosure is intended for installation into a Central Office or similar telecommunications environment. The HP DC Power Supply, cable management system, and seismic brace are intended for use in the HP BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure and HP Carrier-Grade rack. The HP BladeSystem c7000 enclosure has a fully redundant design with redundant interconnections between servers and interconnect modules. The enclosure contains a NonStop signal midplane and a power backplane that have no active components. A basic VC domain includes a single HP c -Class BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure for a total of 16 servers (or up to 32 servers if the double -dense option is enabled), or a single HP c -Class BladeSystem c3000 Enclosure for a total of 8 servers (or up to 16 servers if the double -dense option is enabled). Engine ID String
1 to 27 printable characters,
final Engine ID will be a

The Engine ID String is used to create the engine
ID hex value.
The engine ID is combined with the user name to
create a SNMPv3 user for each enclosure.
When the engine ID is unique to an enclosure,
users with the same name on different
enclosures are unique.
The Engine ID string defaults to the serial
number of the enclosure.

Adding SNMP alert destinations
To remove a current SNMP alert destination, select the check box, and click Delete.
To add a new SNMP alert destination, click New. The Add SNMP Alert screen appears.
To send a test SNMP trap to all of the configured trap destinations, click Send Test Alert. You must enable
SNMP to use this function.
